About Polish Financial Supervision Authority Office

The Polish Financial Supervision Authority Office (PFSA Office) supervises the banking sector, the capital, insurance and pension markets, payment institutions and payment service providers, electronic money institutions and the credit union sector.

The statutory activity of the PFSA Office requires the use of advanced IT technologies and tools from leading software vendors, such as Microsoft, IBM, ORACLE and SAP. Due to rapid development of advanced data communications infrastructure and in view of the complexity and diversity of licensing rules of the aforementioned vendors, which consumed more and more resources and time, the PFSA Office decided to obtain a solution supporting license management.

The Project

The PFSA Office implemented the Portfolio Management Platform Managed Service solution for four key software technologies used in the IT environment. In the first phase of the project, the license assessment was generated for Microsoft software, followed by a license assessment for IBM, ORACLE and SAP BO.
